Welcome to our new website. St Saviour’s is a Church of England church in Bamber Bridge, a few miles from Preston in Lancashire, which has existed for the glory of God for 170 years this year! Our church family is made up of all ages and from all walks of life. As Christians we clearly hold to our purpose – the belief that we are made for knowing and bringing glory to God, through Jesus Christ.
This is reflected in our worship, which celebrates a blend of ‘ancient and modern’. Established hymns and modern songs sit side by side in our hope of preserving the best of the past and the new, to enliven our worship and speak to each generation worshipping with us.
Clear Christian teaching and firm commitment to the call of the gospel are hallmarks of our ministry and for which we strive, celebrating the gifts that God wills to give to all His people, to share and exercise in the building up his Body, the Church – together.
If you’re coming back to church life, or an enquirer, or moving into the area, look us up. One thing is sure, you will receive a warm welcome.
